About Djinn:
Djinn (pronounced Jin) is a boundary-blurring ensemble inspired by the supernatural beings of Arabic lore, free-willed spirits capable of both light and shadow. Featuring Carmine on the Turkish cümbüs (joom-bush), Pete List on djembe and a human beatboxer, Brad Mack with doumbek, riq, and electronics, and Fung Chern Hwei with violin, Djinn is a modern blend of ancient party music with human beatbox, electronics, a taste of traditional middle eastern flavor, and a mouthful of NYC style.
