Tai Chi with Steven
Tuesdays 9:30AM
-
Tai Chi has been passed down through generations, carefully refined to cultivate inner stillness and outer strength. This ancient practice provides stress relief, deeper self-awareness, and a gentle way to stay strong and mobile.
Steven teaches in groups where each student receives personal attention. In these semi-private lessons, you will learn Tai Chi step-by-step, so you can practice at home. You will also receive coaching on posture, movement, coordination, breathing and more.
All levels welcome. -
Steven has dedicated over three decades to the art of Tai Chi, with 35 years of practice and study. His journey began in 1991 in Los Angeles, where he trained under the late Tai Chi master, Sifu James Wing Woo. Steven studied with Sifu Woo until his passing in 2014 at the age of 91, learning his unique and powerful approach to the art.
Today, Steven continues Sifu Woo’s legacy, honoring the tradition and spirit of his mentor while helping others discover the transformative benefits of this ancient practice.
