Intermediate classes assume dancers are both familiar and comfortable with French terminology and foundational ballet moves.

Pre-Pointe/Conditioning provides students with additional strengthening, flexibility, and core conditioning exercises. This is an ideal class for any dancer wanting to improve their ballet technique and prepare for advancement, and for those dancers wanting to dance sur la pointe.

Mythosomatic Qigong
with Sunny Smyth
Mythosomatic Qigong forms are tools of sensitivity and a means of contacting our vital essence (Jing) through the imaginative power of the mind combined with specific archetypal movements. In this context, archetypal means the fundamental emotional patterns of our psyche's functioning reflected in universal, symbolic images. The practice of mythosomatic forms inspires the formation of a new mythic story in one's life that is more closely aligned with one's destiny and one's Jing, the original procreative energy. A fundamental concept of these practices is that mythos (personal, cultural, and ancestral mythologies or stories) and soma (the felt experience of the body's materiality) combine in highly attuned forms to draw the body and the soul toward one another.

Small Group Classes - Every Friday
Morning: 9:55 -11:00 AM
Evening: 6:55 - 8:00 PM

Iron-wing combines the best disciplines of an over fifty year Journey in the martial arts. Iron-wing Martial Art is a composite of Kyokushin Karate-Do, American Kenpo Karate, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Aikido, Iron-Palm Kung Fu, and Wing Chun and meditation.
The Iron-wing mission: is to develop a confidence in each student by helping them find a tangible set of martial arts skills which fit their range-of-motion and physical realities. The student develops lightning fast techniques, and maximize their personal inner power. (chi) This inner-power translates into an effective self defense technique repertoire that most perfectly fits the student, and not the other way around.

Instructor / Master David
Starting at age 10 and opening his first Karate studio in 1980 called East-West Martial Arts at age18 in a large two room apartment in the San Francisco Bay Area and later opened a studio in the Seattle area. The mixed style was originally designed for women or smaller fighters who could level-up to be equal to larger opponents. A vast range of teaching experience includes teaching military special forces to children. Iron-wing's "shotgun" punch and Iron-wing strike, may just be two of the most powerful hand techniques in martial arts.
Today's Iron-wing represents an amalgamation of the best parts of the best systems in martial arts while tossing scripted and often ineffective techniques out. Iron-wing self defense configures to each students personal strengths and range-of-motion. Students will quickly develop powerful strikes and techniques while gaining inner strength and peace.
Some Iron-wing techniques include:
Shotgun-punch (invisible punch)
Iron-wing strike
Inside-up back-fist
Inside-out ridge hand
Teen's are highly encouraged to join
