Almaaz Assahara and Ahatti

Almaaz Assahara, founded in 2006, and Ahatti Apprentice Company, founded in 2001, are student companies ranging in age and ability. These companies provide a powerful and intensive experience for those students who wish to take their dancing to a semi-professional level. A rigorous class, rehearsal and performance schedule builds the dancer into a performer as well as offering each participant an experience rich in culture, diversity, and community. These dedicated dancers perform all over Santa Fe at benefits, assisted living homes, non-profit fundraisers, private parties, etc.

Almaaz Assahara (Diamonds of the Desert) is dedicated to modern Egyptian and Folkloric styles of belly dance.
